Maybe the best thing Ive read in a long time. If you know me, you know I say it and like to, a lot. I wear my heart on my sleeve and always have. The transition from facebook to google+ is slow - its like going to a new neighborhood and leaving all your friends behind in the old one. Its not the same despite the overall benefits, which I think are pretty clear.
I wish more people were using it, but for now I have to settle for the fact that they aren’t. So I need to make facebook appearances and ease the transition. Soon enough though, people will realize the improved picture sharing, the chatting and hanging out in one place - and how its less of a forced representation than facebook is: trying to define yourself in boxes, constant status updates. Google + is a lot more streamlined and natural. And its all in one place!
This picture illustrates what I have been using it for so far. Hanging out is the best feature - its like google listened in on my dreams. Instant visual connectivity with people everywhere / anywhere.
